One of DC Comics lesser known characters with a really gross burnt face is hitting the big screen this summer and for a C-List comic book character, It has a pretty amazing cast. Jonah Hex is played by, Josh Brolin. The movie also stars the hottttttttttttttttttttttt Megan Fox, and the lead villain is played by the great and very spooky/creepy, John Malkovich. The effects seem pretty good. It should be a fun popcorn movies. It doesn’t seem like anything ground breaking but I’ll probably go see it. After all it has, guns, special effects, explosions, and Megan Fox. That’s pretty much everything you need in a summer movie.
I’ll make this one kind of quick because i’m so excited to share this with people. Yup, I just had a total nerd-gasm. Thor has been filming for months now and shockingly, no leaks have popped up on movie news sites. Thanks to superherohype.com and yahoo! movies, we can finally see (a little bit) what Thor will look like. It’s only a tease but wow. So far it looks faithful to the comic. ENJOY! If you have problems with the image then here’s a link to the superherohype post, http://www.superherohype.com/news/thornews.php?id=9345
first look: Thor
It’s not showing up….! Can’t see no pic! I’m actually excited about this movie!
(your blog has the same theme as mine!)
Me to man! I’m stoked about the movie! If the image isn’t working, just click the link above the picture. I’m sure you’ve already seen the image by now lol.
It’s hump day! For all of us nerds out there, we know Wednesdays as New Comic Book Day!! As I entered my local comic shop in Smith Towns called, Fourth World Comics, I picked up the latest Marvel Previews magazine. The first thing I saw when I opened the cover page was an advertisement for a new book called, (spoiler) Steve Rogers: Super Soldier!! After giving up the mantle of Captain America to his former side-kick, Bucky Barns, many comic book fans have wondered what the fate of Cap Version 1.0 would be. I can now tell you that this art work is visual proof that Steve Rogers is back in a major way. The Book will probably ship some time this summer but I’m excited to buy it because it’s in good hands. The book will be written by comic book heavy hitter, Ed Brubaker. For those who live under a rock, Ed Brubaker was responsible for the death and resurrection of Captain America. He is also the man who gave Bucky Barns( a.k.a, The Winter Soldier a.k.a. The New Captain America) a main event spot amongst the other top super heroes. The art is done by Dale Eaglesham. He has recently done some amazing art work for the Fantastic Four.
Over all, I’m really excited about this book and to see what the future holds for this new incarnation of Steve Rogers. What other books will we see him in? Could he be leading an entirely new team of Avengers? (wink, wink) We’ll find out soon.
yeah should be an interesting read! I look forward to it. Although, there’s only one cap for me: Steve Rogers. Bucky’s kinda lame, just my thoughts, thanks for the update.
I totally get what you’re saying. I liked Bucky better as The Winter Soldier.
AMC has officially announced that it has signed Andrew Lincoln for the lead role as officer Rick Grimes in the network’s adaptation of the wildly popular comic book series, The Walking Dead. This announcement comes shortly after the news that actor, Jon Bernthal will play the role Shane; who is Rick’s best friend and former partner on the police force. The story follows a group of survivors as they try to live life after a zombie invasion has decimated everything and everyone. I for one can’t wait to see how this show turns out. I am I huge fan of the series and I hope it remains faithful to the books. I know that the series has been given the greenlight for six episodes. Robert Kirkman (author of The Walking Dead) writes this series with more of a heart filled human nature approach. This is not your run of the mill splatter house graphic novel. This is a story of emotion. You truly watch the characters go through so much change and you become attached to Rick Grimes along the way. I think the casting is great. Andrew Lincoln looks as if he can play the part well. Let’s just hope this doesn’t take a wrong turn down zombie franchise hell and go all cheesy House of The Dead on us. AMC has a good opportunity to make something great and bring drama to horror.
